Halloween and Me

So, this year I carved the first pumpkin that I can recollect. You know what? It was AWESOME! It was like an Easter egg…but fall-like.

My family didn’t really celebrate Halloween growing up. I don’t feel strongly that I missed out on anything big–after all, thanks to their influence I still have all my original teeth. And, I remember dressing up one Halloween and handing out the candy to the trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood and that was fun. I would have missed all of that if I was gone when everyone came for our candy!

I haven’t spent a lot of thought on what I think about Halloween, but I ran across a blog post recently that I thought was excellent.  Click here to read it.

Pictures of my carved pumpkin as soon as I track them down.  🙂

So. Happy Halloween! And, I couldn’t resist…Click here for the Jerry Seinfeld Halloween sketch. HIGH-larious.
